I've just bought four 28mm plastic horse drawn wagons in my local pound shop. American west style but I'll be using them for any 19thC wagon as I'm not too fussy for that price.
They were in packs of 54mm cowboys and indians and were obviously far too small for the figures. Horses were supplied to pull them but they were in 54mm scale and way too big for my purposes. The cowboys and indians seem to be pretty nice figures. Good detail and hard plastic. I've only had a quick glance though.
In metal I think these would have set me back about £7.00 GBP each so I'm feeling very pleased with myself. Now I just have pick up some oxen or horses.

Hi Agent Brown. Do you remember which chain of pound shops they are in?

I would also like to know which chain, wondering if with the addition of some rivets and a stack pipe they could be used fir civilian steam conveyances.
Cheers

You can often get cheapo accessories from pet shops, aquariums or dollar stores for cheap! And don't forget the after Christmas sales of Christmas decorations like miniature houses and trees.

Yep, on my way to poundland now

Agent Brown did the pack come with fences and a totem pole? I think I may have that pack.

No luck in Horsham poundland. Only cowboy sets were packs of 3, I noticed on the reverse of the box were pics of other sets which included a stage coach, are these the range agent brown ?
Ps bet you wished you hadn't mentioned it now lol

They've got a teepee and some fences, no totem pole. They came in plastic bags with a cardboard top.
I popped back in today just for a look and maybe pick up a couple more but they'd all gone.
And I'm happy to help. This is the most attention I've had since the incident with the kipper.
