Hi guys, I want to set up a blog page to show some of my painted works as they reach completion for people's views and opinions. Sadly getting feedback from my girlfriend always gets the same disinterested "There fine". I have several projects on the go at the moment that may be of interest to people at varying stages of completion which includes; 15mm sci fi, 15mm WOTR, Warzone Imperials army and Human and Orc blood bowl teams. As I finish these projects and get the blog up and running I would love to share photo's of these with my fellow TMPers for constructive criticism and possible advice on new techniques to try etc. Hopefully you guys will be able to give me some advice on the best free host to set up a blog with. As always your comments and suggestions are greatly appreciated. |

Blogspot. It's free, easy to use and has all sorts of options. Here's mine: insosworld.blogspot.com Mine is more simple than many but it shows that even at this simple level, there is plenty to look at. Just remember to keep making updates regularly! (There is also nothing stopping you having more than one Blogspot blog). |

I use blogger as well and from day one was impressed with how easy it was to use while still being 'feature rich'. Regular updates will help your blog grow but a lot depends on how much time you want to spend blogging instead of painting or gaming. The key is to decide what you want from your blog and then stick to that formula. If the content is good readers will come back even if you only post weekly. BigLee Blog link |

Thanks to both of you for your advice. I have now set up a Blogspot account. Liked the layout options. I will put a post on TMP as soon as I get my first photographed miniatures on there for your views. If of any interest I will be posting some painted 15mm QRF colonial marines (Aliens) pics hopefully some time over the coming weekend. Cheers Chris |

To; "doublesix66" Some of the Warzone stuff I have was bought over 10 years ago! I recently stripped the paint off and will be repainting them. I also managed to get hold of a Hurricane walker of Ebay last month which ended up costing me slightly over £82.00 GBP God I wish I had bought a couple back in the day, could have made a killing! Cheers Chris |

Blogspot is very easy to set up and with the help of video tutorials at YouTube, there is very little that can go wrong. I started my 18th century Sojourn 10 months ago and focused on one century, but opened my activity to collecting figures on a global pallet. For a touch of fantasy, I have the wierd and wonderful of Transylvannia and an Archipelago Ameri-go, which flaunts an Atlantenean mystique. I strive for weekly up-dates and post all manner of topics to building armies, terrain, or our campaigns, all of which can be found at "index of topics" located at the right-hand side. 18thcenturysojourn.blogspot.com Welcome to blogging, Cheers, Robert |
