There is book with the same title, they were amazing pilots,flying against the Luftwaffe's best. |

The Night Witches (588th Night Bombers) flew Po-2s, and would've been in very bad shape if they ran into the Luftwaffe. They mostly had to fear AAA. The 586th Fighter regiment flew Yaks, and did do air-to-air. At any rate, they were women who were far bigger badasses than most of us will ever be. |

Dynamite Comics did a 4 issue mini-series last year about them. Good story. |
