Condottiere02 Nov 2009 6:16 a.m. PST

I am looking forward to these, especially the String Quartet--I started that item on the 100 Club sometime ago (I wanted it for my SYW Austrian Army's pulse marker for Might & Reason).

I need something to fill the Gazebo in my Sedan Chair Racing game.

John Clements02 Nov 2009 2:08 p.m. PST

Sounds great. Must peruse the Eureka site and get my order in, though as I don't have any call for Prussians I will have to pretend Frederick is someone else.

Cardinal Hawkwood02 Nov 2009 3:08 p.m. PST

Cardinal Hawkwood02 Nov 2009 4:35 p.m. PST

good one I didn'yt know how to do that..

andygamer02 Nov 2009 8:48 p.m. PST

I copied it from the PDF one of your Aussie gamers sent to me.

If you hit the "print screen" button on your keyboard, Cardinal, it copies what's on your screen at the time onto your clipboard. (Often called a "screen cap" for screen capture.) Then you go to your graphics programme, like Paint Shop Pro or MS Paint, and do a "shift" + "insert" and it will paste the image as a picture. Then you can save it and manipulate it like any other pictures you've got. (And then "empty clipboard" so you won't have a huge graphic draining your computer's memory when you're done.)

Cardinal Hawkwood03 Nov 2009 5:54 a.m. PST

I sent it… yes you lost me just after "print screen" though I am having a play with it..

Cardinal Hawkwood03 Nov 2009 5:58 a.m. PST

Get the 18th Century Civilians when you can, too. They are fine comic figures.

spontoon15 Nov 2009 6:59 a.m. PST

So, Andygamer; How do you propose to deploy those on the table?

What happened to these?
I have e-mailed Eureka about them but no reply
Have they been released?
Does anyone have them for sale?

Anyone help!!

John Clements07 Feb 2010 2:33 p.m. PST

Thanks for starting the ball rolling on these figures, Cardinal. Don't know why you've only just got yours; mine came before Christmas but I haven't had time to start work on them yet. They certainly look really nice, though I won't be using them as their intended personages – Voltaire apart – since my interests are centred round Versailles rather than Potsdam.

Now wouldn't a vignette of De Saxe relaxing with his 'actresses' be rather interesting……..?

Cardinal Hawkwood07 Feb 2010 6:25 p.m. PST

actually I didn't start the ball rolling with the quartet but did with the others..intersting indeed!!! I have some ideas on a project like that..
