I ran this game using a combination of plastic model kits and pre-paints on a Hotz mat, with fight stands made by Litko. I plan to write a detailed AAR as time permits, but for now here are the photos.

Nice looking game! I have the rules but haven't gotten a chance to play them yet. So, you like the Litko stands?

Thanks,

John

Yes, I'm pretty happy with the Litko stands. I ordered the components using their custom utility. The hexes are 1 3/4" wide, and the flight pegs are 3" tall. I prefer to keep my planes relatively close to the table top to minimize damage if they get knocked over.

Nice. Very, dead set, NICE. Well done indeed. Have been wanting the time to get on with the same idea, same scale, myself. I'm not that fond of hexes, myself, and a few He111's would be nice. But – ! I'll take nothing away from you. Great stuff, and thanks for sharing.
