Hello all.

First: Although this promotion is being run mainly from my website, I am NOT doing it to promote my site.

I am a HUGE fan of Crimson Skies, it saddens me that it has dropped off so badly. So I am promoting a six week event, with contests, prizes.

Full details can be found here:
link

The goals:
Get whatever remnants of Crimson Skies players there are together.

Get new material. Already a number of fans have stuff in preperation! I am making a fan sourcebook for the South Pacific, another is making a "Fan website kit", while others are preparing essays on areas.

What's going on:

I am going to gather a "Master list" of anything even remotely CS related, and the active sites still around.

We are updating my site, as well as putting up some new stuff, like aircraft markers, and resources.

One of the most important events: Jordan Weisman has agreed to do an interview session on the forums!!! This will be primarily for Crimson Skies commentary, although some on regular gaming can be done. Questions can be posted on a thread (Created then, along with guidelines), and at the end of 10 days, he will answer them!!

I am likewise releasing a ground combat game suited to Crimson Skies for tanks and infantry, and another semi-RPG/semi-pure combat game for personal combat.

We ask anyone with a interest in Crimson Skies, alternate history, pulp gaming, sci-fi, RP, anything related to drop by!!

Let's try and get interest up a little! If we can, it either might help another CS game by Smith&Tinker, or at least get a little new material for the game.

Grant.

Edited: Apologies for no link.

Interesting! Good luck, Grant! I'll have to keep my eyes on this…

Way cool. I will have to give it a go. I might be able to whip up a game next weekend. I'll run it past the club…

Right now most of my CS gaming is online, either the PC version or a PBEM.

Ain't as much fun if you got to try and "Play fair" when you're contorlling both sides ;-). lol.

Just figured I'd mention this again straight ahead of the Promotion!

We're having a PC game on Sunday (two actually), so if anyone wants to show up ;)

Just figured I should let you guys know that the Jordan Weisman interview is going now! It continues until the 20th! So if you got any Crimson Skies/S&T/etc. questions feel free to ask!
