Hello

Recently, I had my hard drives professionally scrubbed and my computer upgraded to Windows 7. The problem is that when the new OS was installed I lost all my favorite web sites. I have been carefully mining TMP for great sites over the last several years and now they are all gone. I'd appreciate a hand from TMP folks rebuilding my favorites menu for ACW. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Norris H

Do you really need anything other than the listed webpage? :-)

My other fav site: aotw.org/index.php

So how is Windows 7? My wife got a laptop couple of months ago with the 'free upgrade' offer, we've sent off for it but the 'free upgrade' came with over £12.00 GBP p&p!

That's why I put all my bookmarks online instead of on my browser…

*NJH: So far I really like it. I'm still experimenting and learning, but it is most definitely faster than Vista. I have a Dell XPS 410.

Oh suuurrre, now you tell me. ;-)

Truth be told, I thought that's what I was doing. I guess you can put an idiot in front of a computer, but you can't make him smart.

There are no stupid questions. There are, however, a LOT of inquisitive idiots…

At least, that's how Mark Twain explained it.. grin

Yahoo has a service that will copy your bookmarsk from your browser to your MyYahoo home page and keep them in sync. Then you can access your bookmarks from any PC anywhere…

I'll have a look at it.

Check the HMGS webpage for some good links. Bill use to keep it updated but not sure he is doing so now. I have Way too many to organize and I save my to a back up drive about once a month. My upcoming project is to organize my favorites to a yahoo group for just hobby and history links. But sad to say it will be many months before I get to it. Upcoming move and all.
