Wot no Parachute? Photos from this year of the WW1 air combat game by S.E. Essex Millitary Society Thought you might like to see this. One of the neat things was the use of 'dashboards' to store plane information. Has anyone seen anything else like this used in a game for controlling their 'men'? Hope you like it.

Great Scott! Martian tripods with wings! Now we're for it!! Sorry, just the first thing to pop inside me cranium
Actually, that looks great! And what a superb venue for the game. Congrats, and good luck to the model riggers finding an eye specialist who can save their sight after doing all those kites! |

I really like the dashboards, and no, I haven't seen that used elsewhere. Functional AND clever. |

I've seen a dashboard system at a local (Minnesota) con, but can't recall the name of the game
neat nonetheless. |

I've seen lots of Aerodrome players using dashboards. You can even buy them from RLBPS, though the ones they sell appear to be unfinished (I've seen them usually stained and with vinyl around the edge to give them that dashboard look. They use shells from a very small caliber gun to denote ammo. Rules Site (you can see one of the dashboards below). aerodrome-ww1aircombat.com You can buy them here: rlbps.com/RLBPAerodrome.htm |

Usually .22 cal long casings, but I've seen larger calibers drilled into the boards to handle .45 ACP,9mm,etc. shell casings and such. |

TGerritsen ''I've seen lots of Aerodrome players using dashboards'' There's some neat ideas there. The ones in this game were made from breadboards! |
