I desided the visit the Paper Terrain website after reading so many good things about them here at the TMP. I was glad to see the free downloadable sample and attempted to download the sample so I could see how hard the product is to assemble and what it looks like close up and not by pictures alone. I found out the file is damaged, so I tried afew different computers thinking it might be at my end and theirs. After many times of finding that the file was damaged I email Paper Terrain. After many emails, never a reply. I do not like asking something of a company that I am concidering spending money that took me alot of hard work and time to earn and not recieve an answer from them. I am old school, which means my money spends anywhere, so guess I will try a different paper scenery company. |

File works fine for me. The file is pretty basic but you may be trying to open it with an old version of Acrobat Reader – try updating that and see if it opens. If you still have trouble then I can download it for you and e-mail it to you, I'm sure Scott wouldn't mind. There area few buildings for 1/300th scale on my site, but I don't have other scales. link Tony Tiny Tin Troops |

Are you sure your emails are going through? Scott is on TMP quite often, and this does not sound like him. |

Scott has a regular day job
he just might not be available to jump on it at the moment (even e-mail). |

You should try using Foxit: link Unlike Adobe reader, it doesn't need to update itself every 15 minutes, and the free version is very small, very quick. I have no interest in Foxit except as a satisfied user of the free version -- and I own Adobe stock! |

I downloaded it with no problem using Mozilla WaMCom and opened it with Acrobat Reader 5 on a Mac running OS 9.1. Reader warned me it might contain newer information than it could support, but I was able to see it anyway. On a related note, it seems that many of the PDFs I download from Two Hour Wargames are damaged and can't be repaired (on a variety of different machines). But this Paper Terrain file was no problem. |

Hi Everyone! As Sundance guessed, I'm just getting caught up on this now :) My website was having some serious problems with spambots which were sending me dozens of e-mails a day. I usually only get one or two real e-mails a month (aside from orders, of course, which take a different route) so spotting them among all the noise was very difficult. My website forum had been rendered unusuable, too. But just this week I think all of that has been fixed (kudos to Rusti Gregory of Greener Mountain for doing the work). I apologize to green beanie for not getting back to him at once, but honestly, I wasn't even aware that the sample file had become corrupt. It was corrput, but that has been fixed , too, (which is why you folks here were able to download it today). I will have to remember to test that out from time to time. I really do try to provide the best service I can, but every now and then things do go wrong. Again, my apologies to anyone who might have been inconvenienced by this. Also, the forum is now working again. Drop by! Scott Washburn PaperTerrain |
