Greetings! I recently posted a photo of some 28mm headless monsters inspired by the old PC game, Ultima VII. Three Pulp Figures caveman models decapitated for this project. Come have a look: link |

Cool. The Ultima games are my all time favorites. You captured the look of those monsters perfectly. |

I was very fond of Ultima VII: The Black Gate (1992) and Serpent Isle (1993). Serpent Isle was my baby, you know. |

Oh yes, I know. SI was excellent. I remember playing the Black Gate and thinking, "It would be cool if they did this, this, and this" And then Serpent Isle came out and it had all those additions and improvements: new animals, the paper doll system, new weapons, new clothing, bigger portraits, etc. Ultima VIII was interesting technologically speaking, but the series was all downhill after SI. I'm looking for a gazer model next (basically a D&D beholder). It's amazing how expensive they all are! They go for $25 USD up to even $90 USD on eBay! I'll have to sculpt my own. |
