It's about a werewolf hunting gunslinger who seems to have some magic or psychic powers and magical pistols. Read through the first story arc last night. The art is great and the story is interesting. There isn't a lot of exposition or explanation for what's going on. No thought bubbles or narration boxes, just some flashback panels. Seems that the background will only be doled out slowly. I'm trying to resist my need for instant story gratification.

It's worth the read just for the art and gaming ideas. If you like Deadlands, you should read it.

I may have to give it a try though their viewwe is very wonky. Pretty much have to go full screen to read and see details. Wonder why they can't just show the comic at a reasonable size like most sites do?

I very much have enjoyed this comic. The viewer is a pain and seems to have gotten slower over time, but I deal with it to read the story.

Reminds me of Neil Vokes' Wicked West graphic novels

I believe DC owns this Zuda comics web site. High Moon is apparently going to be printed in graphic novel form this year. That might explain the viewer, the pictures need to be able to fit that format, and the art needs to be high res.

Cool… anyone remember Heavy Metal's 'Tex Arcana'?

Switch to full-screen mode. I did and had no problems reading the story. It looks interesting -- I'll finish it tonight.

"Cool… anyone remember Heavy Metal's 'Tex Arcana'?"

Oh yeah, I loved that comic and it's demise in 1985 was one of the reasons I gave up on Heavy Metal. I especially remember the werecoyote story. I did a quick check of Wikipedia and found an entry on Tex Arcana which in turn gave a link where you can read all 271 pages as they appeared in Heavy Metal. The werecoyote story remains as good now as it was then.

That's great stuff too. Thanks.
