Beside Elheim – who makes 20mm Zombies? And concerning the Elheim zombies they look like they are designed for a slotted base is this true? thanks |

The zombies from Twilight Creations Zombies!!! games are bang on. Available separately as well. |

You can also make some Zombies from Combat Miniatures 'rioters' and 'innocent bystanders' in their URBN range. Another possible source are 00 scale model railway folk. |

I followed a tip I saw here on TMP to use some Italeri / ESCI "barbarians": cut away the swords, scabbards and axes and they pass in a pinch. The Twilight Creations zombies are really quite good (surprising level of detail once you start putting paint on them)and like most plastic figs, easy (and cheap) to convert. I was in a hurry to finish mine, so I didn't do any conversion work on them. I'll be posting some pics of my mostly Elheim 60 figure "horde" pretty quickly, so look for my post. Bob |

Legion of nightmare. A little more animated than I like my zombies, but 1/72 zombies none the less. link Also Caesars 1/72 plastic undead could be used to convert some other plastics into a zombie horde. link As somebody pointed out the other day 15mm zombies make good 20mm teenage zombies. I mix 20mm and 1/72 figs and hundreds of the Twilight Creations' Zombies!!! For army guy zombies, many poses in the 1/72 figure packs convert pretty easily with a weapons snip and just a slight repositioning of head and/or a limb or or two. |

miniMo, That's a good way to use some of the stupid poses that sometimes show up in the plastic sets. |

Not all Elhiem Zombies are for slotta bases. Most have metal bases on them
Atleast the ones I have do. Elhiem are stopping doing slotta bases and going back to normal basing for their ranges. |

Caesar is very interested in producing a 1/72 zombie set. I recieved an email from them stating that they are in the process of starting work on them. |

Hrothgar, yeah with some of the silly plastic poses, just a weapon snip and a paintjob is all that's needed to make a decent zombie :P |

Vogless How did you ever guess? :-) Yeah I figure with the marines I have in 20mm I may as well do this as I also have 20mm police from Stan Johansen and some 20mm SWAt as well. All I need are zombies. |

I thought the twilight creations zombies were 25mm? They seemed too big when compared to my Liberation Marines |

The older Elhiem zombies are designed for slotta bases, but the last two releases or so have integral bases link |

I have a bag of the Twilight Creations' Zombies they are nice figures but all the same guy. They are 1 inch from the bottom of the foot to top of their head. |
