I usually post in the 18thC forum (SYW) but I have ventured out into the Risorgimento use Baccus 6mm figures. My first effort can be seen on the links below. picture picture All comments gratefully received IR1 |

Interesting decision to vary the direction of the flags. |

Am I missing something
? the flags look conventionally all in the direction of blowing backwards? Nice painting and basing by the way. Mollinary |

Yes, the flags all look the same way round to me. |

Very nice job on very small figures! Smallest scale I ever collected or played was 15mm, and that was decades back as a boy and very young man. I took time off from the hobby then came back entirely in 25mm-28mm. But
I've been thinking about going to a teeny-tiny scale, such as 6mm or 10mm, maybe for ACW (new period for me). Seeing your figures, which look good and give that "distant mass" affect, such as might be visible from a contemporary observation balloon, encourages me to give it a try. |

Very nice looking figures. I often look at your Seven Years War figures as well. I am torn at the moment between using the Baccus 6mm figures for the period or pendraken 10mm. Both companies make great figures. May have to use both scales. Anyhow please keep the pictures coming. Some pictures of my stuff on my blog. myblog-lekw.blogspot.com |

I also agonised on the 6mm vs 10mm thing for APW/FPW. 6mm won out in the end based on price/performance and ease of painting. |

Gents – thanks for your kind comments. I have used the Casali "The Second Italian War Of Independance" as my uniform guide. Can anyone recommend other sources? IR1 |

Good figures, flags look correct too. Do we need to stifle the Editor? |
