Here's my vote: link I have played a lot of politically oriented rpgs over the years. Some I thought were very well done (Birthright, En Garde!) others I did not like (Fields of Blood). However, this is the game our group is playing now, and it is the first rpg I have found in which the political roleplaying was actually integrated into something resembling a dungeon-style adventure. Sounds weird, but it is great fun, and kudos to Inquisitor Thaken who developed it. |

Not an RPG, but
There was a boardgame I played many years ago that "simulated" an American presidential election. Players would visit the states to court electoral votes and so on. Some states were more inclined to vote for your "party". I had good fun with it. Sorry, but I don't remember the name. Junta is almost an RPG, and I find it remarlably realistic. |

Babylon 5 CCG Implemented as a kind of multifaceted competition of social networks. It was actually very clever. Most RPGs have no political system at all. Transhuman space has a very good political *background*. |
