In the last few days there has been a large thread going on about GW tables at Historicon 2010 in Baltimore. This thread has slipped over into other arguments that are irrelevant to the topic. I'm partly to blame for that, and I will admit that. I will also admit that perhaps I snapped back too far and too hard at some people. For that I will apologize to all. If I upset you, or if you think I personally attacked you, insulted you, or offended you in any way, I apologize and ask you to forgive me. I've decided not to get involved in any more of the "Baltimore Historicon Arguments" as the deed is done, it's going to happen, no one is willing to change their minds, and essentially, those that show up, show up, and those that don't, won't
I plan to be there to have fun, and arguing about a convention that isn't going to happen for another 9 months is not only NOT fun
it's silly. And for that reason, I will step out of the Historicon arguments. Once again, if I upset you, insulted you, or offended you, I am sorry. Michael T. Murphy |

Well
..if you didn't upset the GW crowd
then I think I certainly just did. Sometimes there has to be some frank discussion. I try to avoid it if possible, but sometimes it just has to be said! As I see it the Warhammer players who are intelligent enough to be insulted by a frank discussion can still be saved. Those who are not intelligent enough to understand frank disclosure should continue to play it. |

What fun would this entire site be if people just played it safe and did not confront silliness? I, for one, will miss you Murphy. |

Oh, for Heaven's sake, Murphy. Next you will have Lee apologizing for invading Pennsylvania. Arguing about pointless trivia on TMP is what we DO. As for insulting people, let me throw one out to Mal. JUST WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT??? THAT READS LIKE WRG RULES!!! Thank you. I had to get that off my chest. |

Besides where else would I get my examples to use in teaching my kids critical thinking and logical fallacies. |

The reading element shall, having read the article posted by the posting element, be offended if the article is offensive to, or not non-offensive to, the reading element, or the reading element's point of view, unless the posting element is not in control, or in bad going, or is not supported by flanking cavalry, unless also in bad going. |

And how will I know which miniatures to buy to game the resulting conflict? And what scale? |

Once again, if I upset you, insulted you, or offended you, I am sorry. Upset? Insulted? You're damn right. Murph, this has got to stop. You're making TMP look bad. Remember, being a TMPer means never having to say you're sorry. [Love Story anyone?] I enjoyed your comments. Although I must say they were a bit too much on the "rational" to suit me. And no more of this going elsewhere to vent. If you are going to vent it should be here where we all can enjoy it. I for one felt hurt that you went elsewhere. And what is this venting stuff anyway. What kind of sissy thing is that. Real men don't vent. Real men smash faces. I don't think you have quite got the spirit of TMP. You see posting on Baltimore and Historicon is a blood sport. We want to hear the breaking of bones and see the splatter of blood and hear the lamentation of their women. Now Murph just go out there and tell everyone that you didn't mean to apologize. Tell them you just had a brain fart [incase that doesn't go through it sounds similar to heart but with an F sound]. I know Murph you got thrown but you go to get back up on that beast (2010 Historicon) and spur the hell out of it. That's what a real man does. OK, it's time for recesses. Go out there a crack some skulls. Rich |

Hear hear, Mal/Murph. Love means NEVER having to say you're sorry. I live where the women are women and the men are men. Murph
put on your suit, grab the piece, make sure the powder is dry, and stick it in their face. |

Wargaming means never having to say you are wrong! Yet another reason I have become quite fond of solo games. |

The latest version adds: "Once a posting element has made complex grammatical contact with the reading element, it is required to expend another 80 words in order to create complete confusion in the reading element." |

Murphy, you show up for H-con in Baltimore and the crab cakes are on me. I'll even stand the cost of a few beers too (as long as I don't have to drink 'em) |

Yes, that's proof! They're bribing with Crab Cakes! (Not a patch on Vegas, anyway; it has Gordon Ramsay and Emeril
) |

But nowadays Phillips gets its crabs from Indonesia. They own the aquaculture farms
