My son picked up a 20mm Jeep at Historicon from Syr Hobbs. Now he's trying to assemble the model, and there are absolutely no instructions as to where the pieces are supposed to fit. Repeated e-mails and a phone call have yielded nothing from the vendor. Help! Anyone have instructions to put this thing together, or a photo of the finished model? Syr Hobbs website is of no assistance (no photos, no directions). Lots of small pieces that don't seem to fit right

who makes the jeep model, SYR hobbies is just a retailer I don't believe that they make models as well. Least if they do I apparently have been in the dark all this time. I'm sure Duane is out of town, I've always had stellar service from them in response to emails and phone calls. Tell us who makes the jeep and we can point you in a direction that might help. |

Thanks dragons ire
the Jeep model was unmarked in a plastic bag; we have no idea of its maker. |

I think Syr Hobbs carries Liberation and Milicast jeeps – is it resin or metal? |

Perhaps if you posted a pic of the kit you could get advice that way? |

The kit is all metal. I will ask my son to take some photos of the pieces and post them. |

You will find an excellent tutorial on assembling such models (at least as far as technique goes) here: peterpig.co.uk/assembly.htm Good luck! |

Scott: I make an all-metal 20mm Jeep for our Sojers Range: Click on the SV301 link on the following web page at our website to see: link Our's doesn't sound like the one you have and should have instructions. If ours is not the kit you have our photo may help you put it together for your son. Toby Barrett, Thoroughbred Figures |
