Gentlemen,

Last brush strokes are drying and I will shortly apply a varnish to the Grenadiers and Carabineers, I thought I would add a short review with photos of my recent additions to my Austrians. With helpful suggestions from members here I finished two combined grenadier battalions and two companies of carabineers.

End of the week I shall have a battle report from our campaign in Bohemia.

Cheers,
Robert

Thanks for your comments. I usually paint the "silver" or metal parts after the varnish has dryed. Painting over a varnished bayonet or metal object gives an even coating. That is why the bayonets are still black.

IR 54 Sincere will be painted in the coming week. Debating how I should handle the "scalloped" hat trim.

Cheers,
