If you are coming to Fall In! and would like to test out the rules, I'll be supporting the release of the rules with three games of Roman Seas at Fall In! this year.

Event 060 Friday 2PM – 6PM
Event 198 Saturday 9AM – 1 PM

Even Caesar's Men Must Eat – Aegean Sea, 49 BC
Unable to defeat Caesar and his legions on land, the Republican forces seek to starve out his army by naval blockade. A convoy of badly needed supplies is en route to Greece and must get through to Caesar at all costs. Man your rowing stations, ready the grapples, and fight for control of Our Sea at the head of a squadron of war galleys.

Event 199 Saturday 7PM – 11 PM

Rule Britannia! – English Channel, 289 AD
Roman general Carausius has rebelled against the empire, seized the fleet in Gaul and established an independent empire in Britain. The Roman emperor in the west, Maximian, has constructed a new fleet and sallied forth from the Rhine river to defeat the rebels and reconquer Britain. Take command of a squadron of liburnians and fight for
control of the waters around Britain. Ramming Speed!

(this is the same game I ran at Historicon -
