I was just at the Hat site and they are working on "Von Lettow's Army" and "Ruga-ruga." These are obviously companion packs to Africa set that they have out now. I would like to know what else is in the pipeline for this conflict.

The figures look pretty good too. Much better than the Coates & Shine abominations.

I hope they also do Allied forces for Africa-British, South African, Indian, Portugese, etc.

Agreed…they were dreadful…I still have a box of them in the loft somewhere.

The Hat figs look very nice. The Ruga-ruga are more Hollywood in appearance than other companies make them, with the masks and hats. I have German askari from three 28mm makers and none have the fez/hat feather. I have also never seen a picture of such.

Too bad these will be in only 1/72. Will they be hard or soft plastic?

Hat uses a paintable plastic that isn't hard. I'm glad to see this range. Just need the Brits and some KAR.

Thanks,

John
