While Loescher does sometimes get carried away and leans towards hagiography, these are excellent books with a wealth of documentary data.

I have all four in the hardback reprint but it was definitely worth the money even though a cople of the maps/plans are a touch difficult to read. Nice to see the publisher keeping these in print.
