I'm currently working on a set of Egyptian tomb blocks to use for pulp style miniature games. I unashamedly stole the idea from Matakishi's Teahouse. Finding cheap blasa and Egyptian accoutremonts haven't been a problem. I am having difficulty in finding floor tiles to match the blocks. I've looked at several of the rpg online stores but I haven't seen anything I thought would work. If you guys have any ideas I would greatly appreciate them. Below is a link to Matakishi's Tomb blocks so you get an idea of what I'm looking for. Thanks

I am PRETTY sure that those tiles are from the old Dungeon Tiles from Games Workshop.

At least its similar to the ones I have from GW…

Absolutely they are!
But OOP from long time….
Anyway I made a big egyptian floor plan on a foamboard (am I right? the foam between two cardboards).
You can make the lines with a NOT sharpened pencil and than color it with quite anything you like. I used Pantones.
Have a nice work!

If you can find them the DnD dungeon tiles called "Dire Tombs" should do the trick.

Hirst Arts has floor tile moulds, including one for Egypt.

This could work good for decorating your Egyptian Tomb.

Just an idea that was discovered by accident.I was at a DIY store and spotted a pack of vinyl floor tiles with a blue mosaic pattern ,there were differing shades of blue and it had a cool ancient marble effect.I snapped them up and managed to duplicate many warhammerquest floor tiles which we use now and then.I managed to find a link as an example link I will also mention foam backed mosaic wallpaper too as you may be able to ask the shop for a few examples to take home and sneak enough for a couple of temples or treasure rooms.

If you look through the pre-cast pieces by set listing at CASTLE KITS under the Egyptian sets there are 4 kinds of floor tiles, 3 of them are 1" and 1 of them is a 1.5" tile.

Feel free to email me any questions at imartin@castlekits.com

Pre-cast sets are done in white Hydrostone plaster and are $2.15 USD per set.
