As promised, here's some photos of my project to convert some 15mm sci fi figures into superheroes! link All the figures came from Kremlin miniatures - link Apart from The Puddle, who I made about a year ago from some spare green stuff. I knew he'd come in handy one day! Most of the miniatures have only had arms repositioned, gear snipped off and capes / masks / hands added where needed. Pink Ninja and Soyborg are exactly as I got them – they didn't need any converting at all. All conversions were done with Pro-Create, which I am liking much better than /green Stuff. All paints and inks are Citadel. I've based them on 2cm squares of framers mount board card. I didn't go overboard on the sculpting or painting because A0 They're tiny and you won't notice it while you're playing anyway and B) it would be nice to actually finish a wargames project just once before I die. Now for the hard bit – Buildings and vehicles! I want my heroes and villains to be running rampant in the high street of a typical english town (like the one outside my window). Once again I seem to have chosen a scale and subject with no support however
. I'm having trouble finding 21st century civilian cars, buses etc in 15mm scale. Any ideas? Also modern English buildings in 15mm would be handy. I'm thinking of using some Normandy buildings and a few medieval ones. My town has quite a mix, with a 14th century church and some houses being 13th century. Any ideas there folks? Lastly, I've cross posted this to sci fi because I thought some of you might want to see how nice these Kremlin miniatures are! |

Have you seen the 15mm figures from the Super Figs line? link |

Yes thanks Infojunky, I've looked into those. However, there's no UK stockist. Old Glory US charges $50 USD P+P for the two packs, which makes the total order $63, or £39.00 GBP That's a little too pricey for me I'm afraid. They're lovely figures but at the moment I'd rather have the fun of converting my own! |

However, I phoned up the nice chap from Old Glory UK today and he's getting me two packs sent over when he orders again from the States.Yay! It won't be quick but it'll sure be cheaper. |
