Hi everyone; At my Local Game Store, a couple of us are looking to build some forces for WWI gaming, early war. I want to do French and have found the plastic minis by haT for French Infantry. I can't find anything for cavalry yet. Anyone have some sources. Thanks Joe |

I myself used (for the early war) Strelets French cuirassiers in overcoats/winter gear and Chasseurs d´Afrique. You need to add helmet and cuirass covers from cigarette paper and remove some plumes and flintlocks, but the rest of the conversion is pretty straightforward. Strelets also makes German cavalry for the early war. IT Miniatures also do them in (very attractive) metal 20mm and also have the Late War cavalry. |

Thanks everyone; I'll look up product from the companies you mentioned at Fall In. We are planning on playing some Great War by Warhammer Historical. Good Gaming; Joep |

You may also want to take a look at Iron Ivan's Price of Glory. They are a skirmish set and pretty popular. Thanks, John |

Hi John; Thanks for the reminder. I have looked at it briefly before, but that was when none of our group was thinking about WWI. Will definately look at them again. I also looked at "To the Last Man" by Chris Peers and I also just pulled out "Trench Wars" Lots of choices now days. Joe |
