For the cover of my Kaiju rules "Mighty Monsters", I need a couple of sentences written in Japanese script (vertically). "Big Battle of All mosters! Total war!" and "Will Japan survive?" Ideally the person helping me should be a native speaker of Japanese and send me (andreasfiligoi@gmail.com) a high-rez jpeg or even a photoshop file of the two sentences
the kind person will receive a free copy of the rules when they are out (still a long way to go
)and my eternal gratitude. |

Done. I will be sending photoshop files shortly. We had a discussion over the best way to say what you want while not sounding strange in Japanese or using the same character more than once in the sentence. My wife likes Kaiju about as much as she likes most Anime (not at all). Hope it helps. Jeff |

全怪獣大戦闘! All Monsters Great Battle! 全面戦争!Total War! 日本は生き残れるのか? Can Japan Survive? ガネシャ ゲーム Ganasha Game :) I really would not like to take advantage of Andreas because I really like his games. Reminds me I need to order Song of Deeds and Glory soon.
Also, my wife needs me to do a LOT of paper editing soon, so she was willing to do me this little favor. I had to figure out getting it into Photoshop. Jeff |

Jeff, you rock! If you give me your wife's name I'll put her in the credits assuming she wants to be in a Kaiju book :-) Please remind me when the book comes out that I owe you two a free copy Thanks! Andrea |

That's pretty cool Jeff, my college roommate married a Japanese lady and they live in Kyoto. She's helped with conversions of baseball statistics on Japanese Baseball Cards for us (she is not a baseball fan tho). |

Redroom, If I asked my wife to do baseball cards, I would be divorced right now. She tolerates my hobby rather well and even brings stuff back from visits to Japan that I did not ask for, but she normally is not into translating stuff for me for gaming. In this cases, she needs a favor and I think it was also a nice break from her research project where she is dealing with a lot of archaic Japanese language and having to translate it into acceptable English. I get to translate it all in to correct and polished English. :) Jeff |

Nice to see that the Rikaichan plug-in for Firefox agrees with your wife, JRacel. Regards, the Gorb |
