I´m going to sell my 15mm ECW/TYW army but have no idea how much to charge for it. The army is in 15mm and mainly Testudo with some Donnington figures. Everything is wellpainted ( highlights, nice faces)and nicely based. All of it is "DBx" based. I have: 4 bases of artillery 2 bases of gabions 4 blue uniformed bases of pike 4 blue uniformed bases of shot 4 red uniformed bases of pike 4 red uniformed bases of shot 5 purple uniformed bases of pike 4 brown uniformed bases of pike 4 brown uniformed bases of shot 5 bases of dragoons, mixture of mounted and foot soldiers 4 bases of cavalry with hats 4 bases of cavalry with helmets 3 bases of cuirassiers An assortment of commandbases and other bases. What should I charge for it? Any ideas? I have it in Sweden so there would be some shipping costs. |

If I were you, I'd look at eBay. Here, for instance: auction (Toys & Games / Wargames & Role-playing / Tabletop/Historical). I searched for "15mm ECW" and got 31 hits. HTH. |

My rule of thumb is $1.00/$1.50 per 15mm infantry miniature; a cavalryman count for two, and an artillery piece for 2.5. Quality of painting and basing may add something. I should also add that I tend to be on the cheap side, and you may well get in the $2 USD range. |

Soledad, You may want to consider selling the collection as two armies with expansion elements for DBA-RRR use. The rates that DestoFante suggested are good, but it all depends on how quickly you want to sell your figures as well as pricing the collection in US Dollars. Aside from advertising here (membership is required) I would also announce their sale through Fanaticus. They do have a DBR section. There are a good number of free photo accounts, Flckr, Picassa, Photobucket, etc., so do take photos and post them. As you have read, there are plenty of offerings through EBay, so your collection has to be different from the rest. If you have further questions, do ask them here as there are many who have sold collections through TMP. Cheers, Robert dbagora.blogspot.com |
