Does anyone play adaptations of Warmaster for this period (early 18th through to Napoleonic)? If so, what is your opinion of it? Is it "realistic"? More importantly, is it fun? My reason for asking is that with the possibility of getting some 6mms I was thinking of basing them on 40mmx20mm bases, 1 command base : 2 regular base. As well as Warmaster this would be good for Polemos (either scale version), which I've read good things about. |

we have tried napoleons legacy and the malcolm hildreth set from the historical warhamster yahoo group . both work well .. but both have the slighly annoying capacity for an attacker to unlease a hail of shooting before the defender gets to respond .. i think i prefer the age of eagles mechanic of a defender being able to shoot first . this is covered in naps legacy when u get to the acw period in that a defender circa 1861+ gets to use opportunity fire
not sure why u can't use it for the naps era stuff ,,,:( |
