Does anyone know what the status of this line is? I know Brookhurst Hobbies used to be their US stockist but I can't get any information on the figures. |

Out of production. I've heard various different stories about this line and several people have tried to get the moulds. As I understand it the moulds still exist but the asking price is high. Whether that is the true story or not I've no idea. I'd love to see them bought by Eureka and the range added to but until then we can but dream. I expect others will be able to give you the latest news. |

There was quite an in-depth discussion here; link |

I've been told the trick to buying a miniature line is not so much in purchasing the molds, which wear out, but in acquiring the originally sculpted figures for the line. |

I put another manufacturer in contact with the owner of the moulds earlier this year but my understanding is that personal/health circumstances make it unlikely anything will happen with them soon. I keep plugging away in the hope they finally appear! The manufacturer had also lined up a sculptor who could add to the line in similar style which would have been good. I'm not holding out too much hope for the foreseeable though

The PO AWI figures are very nice. I have an interest in seeing the work of the sculptor become available again. Tony Barton would be great and I hope he will give this project some overdue attention. |

Personally, I think the cavalry let the range down a wee bit, but otherwise they are very good. Tony Barton – who was not the sculptor of this range, in case you didn't know, Condotta – has told me (and many others) that he will not become involved in any 18th Century range. Just to put this in persepctive, he said this to me after admitting that he had been very impressed (and tempted) by watching the UK-based AWI re-enactment group, the 47th Foot. |

Interesting, did Mr. Barton give a reason for aversion to the 18th Century? |

Wasn't Michael Percy the sculptor of the PO AWI? Certainly it was someone better known for 20mm.. |

Is that the Michael Percy who's done stuff for foundry recently? |
