Can someone help me with the color for the musician (trumpeter) of the Conty Regt. during the War of Spanish Succession (WSS)? C.S. Grant write that a lot of musician wear the livrée royale but isn't more specific. |

Going by memory their livery was yellow and red – yellow coats, red facings. |

Only the royal regiments wore the royal livery (named royal something usually, like royal cravattes). According to Hall, Conty has a yellow coat with red lining and cuffs. the lace is black with silver edging. |
