I'm interested in finding out more about laser cutting. I'm interested in both UK companies that offer the service in very small hobby volumes, in plasticard as well as acrylic and ply.

I am wanting to take plasticard sheet and create 'kits' of cut compoenents to create some sci fi vehicles and other terrain elements.

I'm also wondering whether there are tiny hobby machines available to buy. I'm imagining something with a bed of say A4 or A3 size which can run from my PC or lap top. Kind of like and old fashioned pen plotter with a laser attached.

does anyone have any experience in this area?

I'm in the UK.

Any help or advice gratefully received.
