And there I was this morning all set to buy a load of WWII British. Now I'm torn – they are soooo nice!

They're looking good!

Wonder if they could pass as Later Han Chinese… I'm planning to do a "Romance of Three Kingdoms" project, but can't seem to find good-looking figures of this era.

khurasanminiatures19 Oct 2009 8:02 p.m. PST

Definitely not, Kraussian.

However, the Tang is a better army and it was an even more powerful dynasty! (For a while, nothing lasts forever!)

I personally preferred the Tang over tha Han. The Three Kingdoms was a civil war which makes it less colorful in a way. Unlike the Tang which fought the Turks, Tibetans and Koreans.

Could the Koreans be next for Khurasan miniatures?

The Three Kingdoms was a civil war which makes it less colorful in a way.

Well, ACW and ECW were civil wars too, but are hugely popular with wargamers.

The novel "Romance of Three Kingdoms" is perhaps the single most widely read and sold book in China (and to a lesser extent Japan and Korea too), even more so than the Holy Bible. wink

The Japanese game company Koei makes a fantastic PC-based wargame based on this war, and I think it would translate very well to tabletop miniatures… but maybe that's just me.

I love them Khurashan! Too many cool armies from your company. You are going to ruin financially this graduate student :)

Now the only thing I need, is an army list from Lorenzo for Basic Impetus!

I'm so glad their in "15mm" if 25/28mm I would be a very poor man!
