Looks like some very intersting new stuff on the horizon. The stuff I have so far is painting up very well. Keen to see how the kisir sharruti will differ from Neo Hittites in the Assyrian range. |

New figures will be here tomorrow hopefully (I wont get them painted until Wednesday!) Ive got 3 various kings chariots on the desk at the moment
Im going to try and get as much out before Christmas as possible. Im in the middle of a 'how to make' an adobe building article this week too, which may be ready by the weekend. |

Just noticed some very nice new stuff on website. Love the animation on the Mesoptamian slingers. |

Does anybody have comparison shots of these next to Gorgon or Crusader? The figures are interesting but I don't know about the size. Mick |

I received them , they are very well sculpted. Another nice point is that you can customize them, as you receive (at least for the hoplites) several different right arms, so that you can choose to make them with spear upright or fighting with spear overarm. Regarding size, they are small. And thin. Dont try to mix them with Gorgon or Crusader. Sizewise, they are more like a thiner version of the WG romans. I'll send you a picture. |

Ok, here it is : 4 pictures of size comparison. After all, immortal is not that small, but thin. It is mainly noticeable with the persian and with the greek head . link It might be possible to mix them with foundry after all (not in the same unit though) . I'll paint the hoplites and let you know. |

Thanks for the comparison, its very useful! Im pleased with how the Hoplite sits with the others. The Persian looks quite flat in the picture, I think this is because he doesn't have his spear arm on. |
| Valendir | 25 Oct 2009 10:41 a.m. PST |
True, his spear arm should help a bit. The other pose in the pack is a bit less flat too. But definitely, he should eat more – no wonder they lost against those bulky overfed greeks ! Anyway, i guess that once he will be hiding behind his spara, it is gonna be ok. I was initially more worried about the hoplites, to be honest. But I was happily surprised by the size comparison. |

Dear Valendar, I am pleasantly surprised. It looks like you could mix them. Regards Mick |

Just noticed unit deals are now on offer. A very good idea IMHO. A works in progress/greens page would be nice. |
