Can anyone comment on the overall appearence of these models? I also would like to know how Navwar handles the wing struts on their biplanes, I want to add a couple of each of the above to my early war air support but don't really want to mess around with a fiddly little model. |

CR-42 model I can comment on. It is fiddly, but I understand that it is easier to get brass rod and replace the the struts provided with that. It is a pretty decent model. Are you in the states or UK? If you are in the States, I would buy GHQ, one gets 2 models for $9.95. To buy Navwar from the US supplier it's cost is $5.00. The GHQ miniature is a much nicer model. For that matter, the Hs 123 from GHQ is also superlatively better than Navwar's model. For the null price difference, or even in Navwar's planes are a buck cheaper or so, I like to go for beauty and quality. A year after you paint them, you won't remember that they were a bit more expensive. Here's Navwar's good enough model: link Here's the pretty GHQ Henschel: link And GHQ C.R.42's (which I have and assemble beautifully) and, I suspect also, Hs 123s come with VERY STRONG and THIN brass struts, with instructions.
