I just found an ad for a new online payment service called Payverb: payverb.com Considering all of the negative feedback and complaints about PayPal I've heard here and feedback from a few of my customers, I'm curious about this new service. Has anyone signed up with Payverb yet? Are you happy with the service? Are any retailers here using their shopping cart service or accepting payments using Payverb? I'm not sure what more Payverb can offer that PayPal isn't already doing, or how they may be more "secure" than anyone else. I'm considering giving them a try, not because they're new or any unhappiness with PayPal myself, but just as another source for payments. Hopefully with this competition they will help break the monopoly of online payment service that PayPal has currently, and maybe reduce the fees and improve the level of services for everyone. Chime in what you think, have a look at my web catalog if you like, and let me know if this would help anyone. Thanks! 'Drew studiobergstrom.com |

US only so no use to me anyway. "We handle your customer information with the highest standards of information security. Acsess to your personally identifiable information is restricted to employees who need to know that information in order to provide products or services to you. Your nonpublic personal information is guarded through stringent physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations." payverb.com/policy.htm#D If I were you, I'd seek to verify the statements above. Easy to say. Very hard to do
(Note the spelling mistake in the second sentence. Doesn't exactly inspire confidence, does it?) |

I always am leery of businesses that use a name similar to their competitors. I would have chosen PayBuddy myself. |
