Hi looking to develop some Arab allies for my DBMM Middle and Late Roman armies. The DBMM list specifies these as variously 'Nomad' and/or 'Bedouin'. I am having trouble finding any ranges for these in 25/28mm.Anyone have any of these and if so what ranges would you recommend?

Not so worried about compatibility with others as long as I can get most o fthe army form the one source. My plans will mean they will mostly all be Camel warriors save for some Light Horse circa 2/3 centuries

Any help appreciated.

cheers

Nothing in Gripping Beast's desert frontier range?

Thanks for the heads up Cooper, I'll have a look. The only other figures I had seen were Essex.

I used Navigator Bedouin light cavalry for Callinicum this year, with LBMS transfers. I think Musketeer also do some useful figures that could fit in with the earlier period.

Warlord Games Dromedarii any good?

I have 4 of the Warlord camels. They are nice, if unusual virtual one piece models. They are huge!

I'd much rather have Early Post-Islamic Arabs!

Listwriters and their names, seriously ….

There may be a few other bits on there.

I'd like some as early as JC's time for use in riot games for that period. Really looking for town dwellers or the types that might be seen in and around a town. After all the Romans had to have someone to put down with those garrisons that they maintained.
