I like Price of Glory myself. It's nice and simple and quick (which being of little brain I find a bonus). Flows well and doesn't seem to get bogged down at all. Troops hanging around in the open admiring the scenery tend to get wiped out pretty quick. Some people say in that respect the game is unrealistically bloody, and fire is too powerful, but for me that feels right for the Great War. How to get across that killing space and get at the defenders is a constant puzzle to be wrestled with. Well, it usually is. In this game the defenders' bungling solved that particular conundrum for the attackers. |
