If you've been curious about the Warlord plastic figures or using the new generation of plastic figures in general; I've blogged a head to head comparison of Warlord and my good-sized ECW collection. I can recommend them within limits.

All the "Blewcoate" miniatures are Warlord Plastics. I forgot to tag the pics.

Which ones are Old Glory?

All the yellow coats are old glory as are the red coats.

They look pretty fair Steve. The difference in size is much more pronounced compared to Foundry . I'm not sure how they fair with Essex yet. OG are darn nice minis though, received a heap of Scots Covenant to fill out the hodden greys.

I agree about OG as well. My "waffle meter" is pegged on this one. If I need to crank out several units for a convention game or was just starting out in this period and didn't want to wait for delivery, do the clean up necessary for OG, or just liked the look of the Warlord guys, I'd give them a harder look. I'm not going to mix these figures into OG or other "mixed units". They just won't fit. That's ok too. That's by design I'll wager.

They were fun to paint(to a degree) and look ok once they're done. I can recommend them within these limits.

Now, on to the metal gunners, resin gun, and the sniper! All I need for Millennium Con is a gibbet, some miscreants, and a set of guys waiting for the rope. I've got a Qualitycast set of Genghis Khan with his entourage, a pile of heads, headsman, naked girl (of course), and a line of despondent prisoners in line for the headsman.
