Howdy, I'm in the process of preparing some figures for gaming Stargate, probably using Dogs of War rules (Unless someone can offer a much better solution!) I was wondering the best vallejo paint colour to use for the uniforms: link link Obviously black!! But what would you say is the most appropriate colour for the green? Thanks! :) |

I would do russian green highlighted by WWII Russian uniform green. |

I used GW Catachan Green which looks darker than your pictures. picture |

I tried a dark green, but it didn't provide the 'right' look for me. WW2 Russian Uniform was too much of a light olive colour, but then again, I didn't try it with a Russian Green undercoat!!! |

Howdy. How about giving us some idea of the topic in your heading if you actually want some help? |

Rules available are Chain Reaction 3.0 from THW. Savage World's Showdown's also has a nice variant. Then Forge of War by Craig Cartnell has a good Stargate variant. peginc.com/downloads.html link link link Pics of my own 15mm Stargate figs. link Thanks, John |

John, Very constructive post. It was your figures that inspired me, so thanks for that! Pictors and Mark: I tried the suggestion, and it worked wonderfully! Will hopefully have some pictures up when I get back from SELWG! |

I'd tweak stargrunt 2 myself. Free download off ground zero games website. |

I forgot to mention the Stargate Yahoo group. link Some Chain Reaction AAR's there, IIRC. A mini campaign. Some nice stuff in the FILES. Thanks, John |
