Great room and nice set up Marcus, I wish I had the space and some of those empty shelves.

I am going to show these pictures to the wife, maybe I can get some finances out of this…

Theword08 Oct 2009 3:35 a.m. PST

Well it's kept me out of the wife's hair lately.. that's a selling point….

That room…er… building is going to be insane when you are done. Great work.

Where is the thread about the table?

Lord Ashram08 Oct 2009 5:56 p.m. PST

Hey, let me ask; do the two big shelves and smaller book shelf HAVE to be next to each other? It might look nice if you spread them out a bit, hanging prints between them? Otherwise it might feel a little like they are squished into one corner while the rest is somewhat empty? Or is it just the perspective of the pictures?

I dig the painting tables. Ultrathin and modern with a nice drawer in the middle.

There's actually very little space left for the shelving when you consider one whole wall is a wrok area.. one wall has the glass sliding door, and the other has a window that nothing else will really fit in.. the only other space is where a couple of chairs and a coffee type table will go.. still I can always have a play.

nycjadie.. I got those tables for free.. was a pretty good aquisition really. They are map tables used by GIS guys so each has a large map drawer..

Thanks for all the positive feed back = )

I think the whole thing is awesome .. is that process of insulating and walling very expensive?

Theword09 Oct 2009 7:45 p.m. PST

I don't think it was that expensive.. probably (without adding it up properly) $2500.00aud if you do it your self.. but that's just the walls insul plastering and paint.. then there's the eleco etc…
