I have seen the standard clear plastic flightstands that are 2-3" in height. Does anyone make higher/ taller stands?

Litko makes them in all sizes, up to 6".

That said, the pegs are 3 mm in size which is a standard size and you can buy the rods in 12" lengths at hobby stores or on-line.
