From watching the posts on the Mongrel Yahoo group, one has to ask what is going on with the company..? |

We seem to have this discussion every 6 months or so on TMP and end up none the wiser as to why releases have completely ground to a halt. Here was the last thread
TMP link To quote Ben (the owner)in March
The first of these [new modern] ranges will be available at SALUTE! After that, there will be a steady stream of new releases that both expand existing ranges and create entirely new ones that have not been mentioned. No stream of releases, or even a trickle. Nothing. It's a mystery to me. Is Pontoonier Miniatures (Ben's other concern) having the same issues? |

Actually having had a look on the internet the Pontonnier Miniatures website is not functioning – or rather to be more accurate is "Coming Soon". I think that has been the state of play for nigh on two years! Is that a record?! |

These guys were at Historicon, in July. They told me that they were planning to do 1960's Simbas and Congo regulars, maybe Katanga Gendarmes. |

I have emailed crouchie a couple of times as his email is listed on the mongrel contacts page. I am looking at some of their range but the photos have stopped showing and not had any reply from Ian. I know Ian's job sometimes keeps him exceptionally busy. So not going to jump to any conclusions quite yet, but wondered if anyoen else had heard anything new? I don't want to go ahead and order till i know the figures are available really. |

Update, had an email reply from Crouchie. He is still supplying the present range but has no new info on any new releases planned. As expected his work/life is keepign him ultra busy. Now I just need to finalise the list of packs.. :) and mail it over. |
