Take a look at Michigan Toy soldier too. If this is a rush purchase, Hobby Lobby sells bagged BMC sets of ACW, AWI, and Alamo figs.

I'd be very certain that you know what you are getting before you buy. I was more than a bit surprised and disappointed by a purchase I made from him.

I buy almost exclusively from Gerardo at Toy Soldier Depot. His shipping is insanely fast and if you join the Combat Storm Yahoo group…we've got a code for members to get 10% off the entire purchase.

His "not merkava 2's" and Chieftains are great for both 20mm modern and 15-20mm scifi kitbashing. Can't beat the prices.

thanks for the info guys. Nick, I am looking at the bagged ACW sets along with the embankments. was your "surprise" and disappointment due to the assortment of figures or scale incompatibility? bear in mind, these are for a 4 year old, his dad and grandpa to refight Fort Fisher in the sand there and for general play until he is ready. I saw some of his figures at the Ft. Fisher museum. all this of course in 54mm. Craig, will check out my local hobby lobby.

good gaming fellas and thanks again!

Sam
