Can these planes be used as "regular" plane/pilots, or are they specific to the named pilot? I know the paint schemes and markings are distincly singular, but do the models function essentially as a "normal" version of that plane type? Thanks! |

Most of them are pretty "specific" but a number look generic enough to pass. I know a lot of gamers will re-paint just a few details like numbers/letters or nose colors. Lazy-ass gamers like myself just deploy entire squadrons of the same plane without any re-touching whatsoever. |

Basically, does the plane function like a regular plane, or are the plane stats different, compared to a non-ace plane of the same type? |

Sorry misunderstood your question – I don't play WoW (I just buy the planes for use with other rules). |

All planes of a particular type fly in exactly the same manner. There are no "personality" specific traits. |

Excellent news! I may have to pick up a few of these at Fall In! |

A few of the models – specifically the DH4 and Roland CII – have variant weapon layouts. So there is a Roland CII with no forward-firing machine-gun; and the three DH4's have single forward and rear MGs, single forward and tim rear MGs, and twin forward and rear respectively. So be careful when you purchase these – if you care about such differences – personally I find the more heavily armed 2-seater variants are too effective. The cards for these may be provided with the "Watch your back" set but I am not sure. There may be one or more single seater models with variants showing single and twin MG's, but I'm not aware of them. |

I'll have to look a little more closely at the two seater variants, as I want to make sure I get the right number of the right types. I'll need a few "recon" types, as well as some "heavy fighter" types. |
