I'm painting up some ships for the Japanese Mediterranean flotillas, the ones based out of Malta in World War 1 and I am looking for the Izuma and the Akashi.

I am sure they are made by Figurehead but for the life of me I cannot see the packs for them (or the Suma class or Asama/tokiwa).

Can anyone assist?

The only Japanese cruiser packs for WW1 made by Figurehead are the Kongo and Tone, Chikuma classes. They make a Russo-Japanese War fleet but it is sold only as a set.

Hope that helps…

Hans and Karl have left for the day, but I'll ask them tomorrow what's up with that question. Bev

Thanks Bev … that would be great.

Alternatively, as a plan B, can anyone recommend any British or French cruisers (er, or German, or Russian or any other nationality cruisers for that matter) of the time that at 1/6000th scale look close enough to the Izuma and Akashi to pass muster as the Japanese Mediterranean flotillas flagships before I hit the books and spend a few hours inside Conway's?
