Anything below 15mm being totally beyond my painting ability, I am full of admiration for your output! I notice however that the colours seem placed far apart – did Kurmainz, or Reichsarmee regiments in general, follow a different practice from the main powers', who tended to group all the colours in the centre of the battalion? |

Musketier Thanks for your comments. The regiment is based on four times 24 figure battalions. For a normal 2 battalion regiment I would use the Colonels Flag to indicate the 1st battalion and the regimental flag for 2nd battalion. As Kurmainz is unusual in having four battalion you can see 1 Colonels and 3 regimental flags. IR1 |

My mistake – I was thinking in terms of two battalions, each with two colours. As they say, never assume

Musketier I thought about using two colours per battalion but discounted it as the Baccus command set only includes one standard bearer. It is possible to use the officers sponton as a second flag pole. I might revisit that and try it on a unit or two. IR1 |
