Other than Front Rank, who makes Bavarian infantry and cavalry for the Napoleonic Wars in 25/28mm?

I think that Connoisseur makes Bavarian infantry only, but no cavalry, so I'm looking for other brands that might be compatible with Connoisseur.

Foundry have their Bavarians back in production.
I have their infantry and cavalry and they are lovely.

Regardless what is said about their practices they still have excellent miniatures.

Agreed – mine are Foundry (bought in happier times for pricing….) and very nice.

Newline designs do Bravarian Infantry that are very similar. (Its a typo on the website that has been mentioned to Sean often enough to now be poked fun at)

Can't go wrong with Foundry Bavarians, and they are having a christmas special at the moment.

Foundry are a bit of a mystery as to what's available. I wandered around the shop during the open day and found loads of stuff I'd never even realised existed which is a bit frustrating. Though I did get a lovely set of Bavarians foraging, every army needs a soldier carrying a pig!! I downloaded a very useful pdf copy of the Austrian range from ArchiducCharles site but I don't know of any others. The nearest I've come to anything similar is this site which has photos of a lot of the Foundry figures including the Bavarians. Though annoyingly I can't see the cavalry!

Anyway I'm waffling. Fritz not sure if Foundry would fit in with Connoisseur. I haven't got Connoisseur but arent't they the same style/scale as Elite? My Elite cavalry are really big while Foundry Bavarians are nearer 25mm. Really nice cleanly cast figures but probably too small to be compatible. I haven't got any Old Glory Bavarians so can't comment on scale/style but OG tend to be a reasonable compromise between the extremes.

Good luck.

Sir Sidney,

Send me an email (email adress is on my site); I have a listing that should help you for Foundry Bavarians (the looters are great, aren't they?).
