Hi there,

So I have been looking at this game for a while now but the lack of information (I can find) on it always puts me off. I have read all (about 9) topics about it here but they are mostly about the figures or lack of US distribution.

What I really want to know is info about the rules: How does it play? What other systems is it comparable to? Are there scenarios in the rulebook? Is it point based? That kind of stuff.

All help appreciated,
Many thanks
~

AFAIK, the scenario included in the rulebook is a sniper/counter-sniper set-up… and the set comes with figures for that scenario: a British rifle squad and a German sniper team.

I have read a brief review of the set in WI… but although positive, it gave no specifics about the game mechanics at all.

24 pages. 1-9 are background.

10 thru 18 are rules.
The soldiers are organised as "bases". There are command, trooper, assault and support bases. 1+ figures on a base; I took this to imply individually based figures are OK.

There are the same 4 types of squads made up of the bases.

Command stats override soldier stats when within range.

Squads are activated in groups in alternating order. Firing is table-based. There are morale rules and pinning.

p18 thru 21 are special weapons, ammo etc. p22 is a scenario.

There's a points system on p23. 24 is the back cover and is a quick ref chart.

Haven't tried it, TBH -- bought it for the figures.
