link More fodder for my photostream. These are the Sgt Major's 20mm 'Wake Island Defenders' painted up for a 1942 Philippines senario I ran in 2007. I based the game on the 1943 propaganda epic 'Bataan'-basically the last stand of a small band of U.S. troops against overwhelming odds. The game was great fun despite the hopeless situation. One twist on the original story is that more than half of the heroic defenders are painted as Filipino G.I.s from the Philippines division |
