I'm a real fan of character figures and I feel that a set of figures based on Blackadder 4 (goes forth) would be great sellers.

Captain Blackadder
Private Baldric
Lieutenant George
General Sir Anthony Hogmanay Melchett
Captain Kevin Darling

Perhaps a figure of Blackadder with pencils up his nose and his underpants on his head to make up a six figure pack or perhaps Captain Flasheart of "The Twenty Minuters".

Somebody get the Perries on the phone! For legal reasons it'd probably be a good idea to call them World War One Heroes or some such!

I would buy such a set. :)

To parphase one of my favorite scenes of all of the "Blackadder" series...

"Who would notice another mad man in this war?" - CPT Blackadder

Why not more appropriatly WWI Zeros?

Oh, why doesn't it pass more often on Comedy Channel (Canada)?

You can get the Blackadder series on DVD in Canada. Check out "Future Shop".

Lord Flasheart needs to come in his own pack. He's so hot he'd melt any other miniatures in close proximity.WOOF!

Made a note in my diary on the way here.

Simply says... "Bugger."

Blackadder is already modelled - any Scottish ECW mounted officer - scouting before Philiphaugh - you,ve got him.

Yes the family Blackadder exists ... as does many other personae.

How about doing Fluffy George's rabbit, the one Sir Michael claims he shot after running over him and putting his dog on him? My theory is Fluffy was really a Hun agent who killed Sir Michael and impersonated him. The motive - nobody could be as incompetant as Sir Michael throughout the entire War, so German intelligence put in a ringer to ensure he'd never have a decent idea!!!

Additional character pack with

Nurse Mary

Baron von Richtoven

Field Marshall "Dougie" Hague

and of course "Speckled Jim"

and the firing squad!

Incidentally a little research on the interweb thingy revealed that George's full name is: " Lieutenant The Honourable George Colhurst St. Barleigh"

Why is this set not real

BBC Worldwide licensing would be problematic…HOWEVER…

I know TFL did a limited release with Mud and Blood, now fairly tricky to get hold of (I know I've tried)

Just a thought, IF someone somewhere was to do the sculpts, and if that someone, somewhere, was to make say make a contribution to say Help for Heroes for every pack sold, there is a reasonable chance that someone would not only secure the writers permission but also the BBC's, make a fair few quid for HfH and also make a lot of WW1 and VBCW gamers happy.

Failing that…Capt. SlackBladder, Lord Belchett etc…

Surely a go-er

Regards as always, Old Goat.
