Eye-candy indeed – and always a pleasure to see the Eureka 'Sandras': hopefully they'll soon re-active the range ('on hold' for years) and expand it as hinted: grenadieres, dragones, cuirassieres… These Eureka 'SYW women soldiers' are more or less Austrians: would Shadowforge enter the competition with, say, 'Prussians'?

Trailape- I think they are actually the Regt 'Royal La Marine' (No43). 'La Marine' (No6) was a different more senior infantry unit with black cuffs, red waistcoat and yellow buttonhole lace in the SYW period.
Both good Regts though.

More importantly- congrats on lovely figs very nicely painted.

Hi seneffe
You're correct, (THANKS); they are actually the Regiment Royal La Marine.
But aren't they the 44th, (not 43rd) Regt?
Anyway, Blog ammended!

I'll soon be adding pictures of MINDEN MINIATURES painted as the Wild Geese "Bulkeley Infanterie"; (with GMB flags the right way up).

Trailape- yes you're quite right. Nr44 in the SYW period, I think having been bumped down one place along with many others by the formation of the Grenadiers de France (Nr 40) in 1749. You can tell my armies are organised for the WAS!
