Hello Everyone -

I'm pretty sure all of you know about the Time Life Civil War series of books. If you are not, here is a link so you can see what I'm talking about.

For as long as this set has been published I've often wondered why they wouldn't do a similar set on a topic such as the Napoleonic wars.

So, that being said, do any of you know of a set of books, like the Civil War set, that was produced and covered the Napoleonic Wars? How about the ECW, was there a set made for it?

Cheers!
Larry

I suspect it is largely because Time Life is very US focused, though perhaps, another publisher, lesser known on this side of the pond, may in fact have published such a work.

The Histoire and Collections Series by Hourtoulle does some of the Napoleonic Campaigns/Battles:

And there is an older series by Tranie & Lachouque that deals with most of the Napoleonic Campaigns:

The first 6 are part of the series. Some of these are now VERY expensive.

Thanks guys.

Man – some of those are pricey. I was pleased to see I have the Tranie & Lachouque volume on Spain. I better not let SWMBO know or she'll want to put it on eBay.

ECW – no – unless you mean such produced in the 1800's.

The Osprey and the Campaigns come close.

Seriously suggest a right good look at caliverbooks.com/index.php
